Good Friday (Service of Shadows)

GF-2011-WG-BKG05b.jpg

The Friday before Easter is known as Good Friday, it’s the day that we remember the greatest act of love the world has ever known. It’s the day that Jesus Christ willingly gave His life to save His people. For centuries, a service has been held that includes readings from the Gospels describing the Son of God’s final hours—known as the Service of Shadows. It is a beautiful and moving time of reflection that includes the extinguishing of candles, multimedia, music and hands-on elements to remind us of what our salvation cost.

Please join us at 7PM. It’s important to understand the darkness of Friday if we’re going to comprehend the light of Easter.
